It’s founders, Fergus Cawley and Niall Flaherty, together have over 50 years of experience in the design and installation of industrial, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and power generation projects.

Meet The Team

Fergus Cawley

Director
Fergus Cawley is a company Director who holds an electrical engineering degree with over 30 years’ experience in data centres, power generation, pharmaceutical, medical devices, and the Irish energy sector. He has been involved in the sustainable energy sector as CHP designer and project manager.

Niall Flaherty

Director
Niall Flaherty is a company Director and a qualified mechanical engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the data centre, pharmaceutical and food and beverage sectors across Ireland. He has acted as MEP design manager on large scale projects on both greenfield and brownfield sites.

Brian Meegan

Principal Electrical Engineer
Brian Meegan is Principle Electrical Engineer and a graduate of Energy Engineering Systems (BSc), and Applied Building Information Modelling and Management (MSc) with over 15 years’ experience. Brian has worked in multiple sectors with design experience in critical power systems design, LV distribution, life safety systems, and general electrical design.

Amy Jacob

Project Manager
Amy Jacob is Projects Manager and holds a masters’ degree in mechanical engineering with experience in the semiconductor and food and beverage industries. Experienced in commissioning support and start-up activities, liaising with process vendors, contractors, and client. Amy also has a CDCP accreditation.

Michael Heslin

Senior Electrical Engineer
Michael Heslin is a qualified electrical engineer with 7 years’ experience in design and project implementation. Michael holds a master’s degree in Energy Systems engineering from NUIG as well as a Bachelor of electrical engineering from UCD. He has experience working within pharmaceutical and industrial facilities.

Ilia Basov

Electrical Enginer / BIM Manager
Ilia Basov has a master’s degree in Radio Electronic Systems. He specialises in electrical distribution, fire alarm, security, communications, surveillance, and control systems design. Ilia has recently been promoted to BIM Lead for Ampromech. He is also proficient with various electrical software packages such as SKM, Amtech, and Dialux.

Stephen Totten

Senior E&I Engineer
Stephen Totten is a senior electrical / instrumentation engineer with over 30 years’ experience in electrical design, construction, and supervision. He has participated in projects in the data centre, healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors. Stephen has been the lead instrumentation and controls designer on multiple projects across several industry types.

Emma McGillycuddy

Lead Process Engineer
Emma McGillycuddy is a chartered engineer with over 20 years’ experience in pharmaceutical plant process & utility system design & validation. She has specific design and site experience of modern industrial and pharmaceutical plants and is proficient in Risk Assessment, ATEX Hazardous Area Classification, Explosion Protection Document (EPD) development.

Kieran Goode

Consultant Mechanical Engineer
Kieran Goode is a chartered mechanical engineer with more than 40 years’ experience in large scale industrial installations including food & beverage, pharma and dairy projects. Kieran specialises in utility and energy optimisation systems and technologies. He has vast experience in HVAC, dehumidification, refrigeration, LPHW, steam, cooling water and compressed air systems.

Colm O’Faogain

Design Support / Piping Engineer
Colm O’Faogain is a senior process and mechanical piping designer who has worked with design consultancies in both office and site-based roles. He is proficient in 3D piping and modelling and BIM/Revit. Colm has worked in Ireland, Spain, Hungary, Slovenia, Egypt, and Germany. Colm has a BA (Hons) with Spanish and German and a Diploma in Business Management.

Ryan Batty

Mechanical Project Engineer
Ryan Batty is a degree-qualified mechanical engineer from the University of Pretoria, with experience in HVAC, wet services, fire control and energy management. Ryan is experienced in detailed design, cost control and project management.

Manoj Goyal

Senior Mechanical Engineer
Manoj Goyal is a degree-qualified mechanical engineer from Trinity College Dublin and has over 5 years’ experience working as a mechanical design engineer in the pharmaceutical clean rooms, data centres and industrial areas. He is proficient in CFD modelling for industrial projects, holds a diploma in project management and is qualified in six sigma foundations and the lean last planner system.
