APM worked as part of a design and build team for WTL on a two 40MW datacentres design for a confidential multinational hyperscale datacentre provider in Belgium.​  As this type of design was new to the client project team, there was a large amount of engagement and design reviews. While this brought certain challenges to APM, it also resulted in a very collaborative process which meant the final schematic design presented was approved quickly. ​ The presence of a large municipal district heating system also allowed APM develop a heat recovery system which provided an output of hot water to this scheme via a heat exchanger, making the potential scheme more environmentally friendly.
